Once, 
before going to the dentist 
to get a cavity filled, 
I ate a pot gummy.
And while I was laid out flat, 
my mouth forced awkwardly open,
the drill intermittently dismantling
my carefully growth tooth,
I thought—
how cool
that teeth are white
and cavities are not.
